Who is Solid Ground Christian Fellowship?

Solid Ground Christian Fellowship is a church plant of Calvary Chapel of St.Petersburg, FL. Pastor David and Family have been attending Calvary Chapel for more than 18 years. Knowing he has a calling on his life to teach the Word of God, and having this affirmed by the leadership of his church, Pastor David was sent out to help pioneer a church in the Ft. Myers area. 

Although Solid Ground Christian Fellowship has a different name than Calvary Chapel it’s philosophies are the same.

These philosophies include the emphasis of teaching  through the Bible, prayer, fellowship, and the breaking of bread which are all found in Acts 2:42.

The expression “Real Life for a Real World” was derived from the understanding that a relationship with Jesus Christ makes our faith in God become expressed in how we live our lives.

The church helps equip its members to do so as well as bringing a message of hope to those who do not know of such a relationship. It is this churches hope and prayer that God would be glorified in all that it does.
